Following in a family tradition of sculptors, Elissa Castelbou began her studies at 'École Boulle' in Paris before turning to scenography at 'La Sorbonne', where she opened her creative horizons. Afterwards she continued her endeavors at ELLE magazine, discovering the fashion world, remaining for 13 years, and working as a fashion editor with top photographers like Steve Hyett, Matt Jones, Max Vadukule, Jan Welters, David Burton, Marcin Tzyska, Ben Watts, Alex Cayley, Kayt Jones, Laura Sciacovelli, Simon Burstall, and many others The imaginary worlds of childhood are an inexhaustible source of inspiration and has collaborated with MILK magazine since its first issue.

As a consultant for many fashion houses and shows, Elissa likes to collaborate in the creation of collections, bringing her universe tinged with artistic, cinematographic and musical references. In 2015, Joseph Ghosn appointed her as fashion deputy editor-in-chief at GRAZIA. In 2016, at the request of Laurence Mahéo, she became head of image at the luxury ready-to-wear house LA PRESTIC OUISTON. Since 2018, she is a  freelance stylist and consultant for Grazia, Milk magazine, Véronique Leroy, Minelli... At the same time, she regularly participates in juries and workshops for fashion schools: Esmod, Duperré… While collaborating with The Drawer magazine on an artistic project of edition called POIL.
