Letizia Le Fur graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in France in 1998 and first trained as a painter. With the encouragement of artist and teacher Val&eacute;rie Belin, she soon turned her aesthetic quest to photography.
Her work centers on the depiction of beauty and the representation of a fantasized otherworld. Letizia Le Fur&rsquo;s attention to color is very particular; like a painter, she mixes colors on her palette, isolates and transforms, corrects, adds, exalts the tones, amplifies them to transcend reality and creates this sensation of unreal world.
&nbsp;Nominated for the Niepce Prize (2022), winner of the Leica/Alpine Prize (2018), the BNF's Grande Commande Photographique (2022) as well as the &ldquo;Fen&ecirc;tres Ouvertes Prize&rdquo; organized by the MEP (2020), she was also resident for the Planches Contact festival in Deauville (2020), and the InCadaques festival (2021).
&nbsp;In parallel to her artistic work, Letizia Le Fur collaborates with advertising, press (AD, New York Times, Milk &hellip;)
She published Mythologies - Chap. I &amp; II &nbsp;in 2021 and Mythologies - Chap. III in 2022 with Editions Rue du Bouquet.&nbsp;
&nbsp;She is also a Leica ambassador since 2019 and is currently preparing her next solo exhibition in the French Institute in Madrid.
