Born in 1980 in Washington DC, she works in New York. A graduate of Yale University, with a Master's of Fine Arts in Advanced Photographic Studies at Bard College NY, Hannah Whitaker develops her aesthetic with objects and humans through a straight photography approach and solid knowledge of light and image construction. Whether through multiple exposures on film or digital camera, her photographs play with patterns, geometry, and silhouettes.&nbsp;Her work has been exhibited in the US and France, and was nominated for the Prix D&eacute;couvertes at les Rencontres d&lsquo;Arles 2012 and Foam Talent in 2014. She is also represented by the Galerie Christophe Gaillard, where she had a solo exhibition and presentation at Paris Photo in 2021.&nbsp;She regularly collaborates with luxury brands and magazines like The New York Times, in addition to special projects with companies and labels.
